The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested a &quot;high value target&quot; identified as Ronan Librando. Operatives recovered P600,000 worth of illegal drugs from Librando.A follow-up operation was conducted in Barangay Malabago, wherein the barangay captain, Epifania Alvizo, was arrested. Alvizo is allegedly another &quot;high value target&quot; in the municipality.A total of P1.5 million worth of shabu, four bank books, and ATM cards under her name were recovered.PDEA-7 Director Yogi Ruiz plans to tap the Anti-Money Laundering Council to look into the bank accounts of Alvizo.Alvizo&#x27;s source of illegal drugs is allegedly the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa, where her husband has been detained after he was convicted of kidnapping in 1994.In a separate series of buy-bust operations conducted in Lapu-Lapu City, authorities also arrested Rolando Baring, Ronnel Abing, Abing&#x27;s alleged &quot;runner&quot;, and Cardo Degamo.Around P300,000 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated from the suspects.The six suspects will face charges in violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
