Gen. Oscar Albayalde told DZMM radio.(We cannot give all on-duty local police because no one would be left to patrol the streets. Peace is for everybody, not just for one.)Mayors are usually assigned 2 police security &quot;if they qualify after validation and threat assessment&quot; by the Police Security and Protection Group and the Directorate for Intelligence, PNP spokesperson Senior Supt. Benigno Durana Jr. told ABS-CBN News.If the local officials continue to fear for their security or if they should attend a large occasion, the police can add perimeter security for the entire event, Albayalde in the interview.&quot;Hindi po puwedeng kung 2 lang ang darating na mayor, gagawin nating 10 para lang dun sa mayor. Mauubos ang aming pulis dahil lang sa pagbibigay ng VIP security,&quot; he said.(We cannot increase the number of police to 10 just because of the mayor.
