Thank you very much for your comments. We accept your findings, some of them, but this is our own statistics and we will do something about this&#x27;. That&#x27;s what the President should say,&quot; he said.The UNHRC last week approved the Iceland-endorsed resolution, with 18 countries supporting it, 14 in opposition, and 15 abstention.&quot;I don&#x27;t think we should cut ties with Iceland. We don&#x27;t have trade with them but nonetheless they are part of the international community of nations,&quot; he said.The senator acknowledged that there are a lot of people being killed in the country and the Philippines must show the international community that it is doing something about it.&quot;I don&#x27;t exceptionally like people who or other countries coming in to our country. We have a functioning court, we have a Congress...I do investigations.&quot;He added that the Commission on Human Rights should also do its job well.&quot;What you need is an engaged citizenry. We have a Commission on Human Rights. What are they doing? If they are not going to do it and other countries are gonna do it then abolish them,&quot; he said.Gordon said it is the country&#x27;s right to protect its sovereignty to allow fair criticism. He questioned if international probers can do a better job than the police or the Commission on Human Rights.Gordon has filed several bills in the Senate to aid authorities in its fight against criminality.&quot;Some of the bills that I&#x27;m proposing, you must have police courts especially in every province. The motorcycle killings, we already have the plate numbers. We have already agreed more or less that it will be color coded,&quot; he said. &quot;When they implement it, I&#x27;m sure you&#x27;ll have more people caught and it will become less and less. You have take a bite out of crime,&quot; he said.
