Some 6 other new cases came from other regions.</p><p>The number of those who recovered from COVID-19 also went up by 75 to 687, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pnp.pio/photos/a.656275274413732/4182832488424642/">latest figures showed</a>. Some 2,470 others are under observation on suspicion of having caught the disease.</p><p>The number of coronavirus cases in the Philippines reached 74,390, with 2,200 new infections reported Thursday.
