Gen. Restituto Padilla said elements of the Philippine Army arrested Tanto at 11:50 AM. &quot;Mapayapa naman siyang naaresto,&quot; he told reporters.</p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p dir="ltr" lang="en">Gen. Padilla said Tanto was &quot;accosted peacefully&quot; | via <a href="https://twitter.com/adrianayalin">@adrianayalin</a></p>— ABS-CBN News (@ABSCBNNews) <a href="https://twitter.com/ABSCBNNews/status/758884921783877633">July 29, 2016</a></blockquote><script async="" src="~//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charSet="utf-8" type="text/javascript"></script><p>Padilla said Tanto is no longer an Army reservist because he has not been attending any of the meetings or events for reservists since January 2015.</p><p>He is set to be brought to the 9th IB headquarters in Milagros, Masbate before being turned over to the Manila Police District.</p><p>Tanto is the primary suspect in the killing of Mark Vincent Geralde in a road rage incident in Quiapo, Manila earlier this week.</p><p>CCTV footage earlier showed the driver of a Hyundai Eon shooting Geralde several times after a fistfight on P. Casal Street last Monday.
