Mesa, Manila underwent random drug tests Thursday.Students from 5 colleges of the university participated in the drug tests while some 200 employees and faculty members also took the tests.PUP President Dr. Emanuel de Guzman said the drug tests were in line with the Commission on Higher Education&#x27;s directive and campaign against illegal drugs.De Guzman revealed some students were against the drug tests for fear of illicit results. De Guzman assured students, saying the state-run university does not have plans to sabotage results.The university official also assured students who will test positive will undergo rehabilitation, which the university will pay for.No students, De Guzman said, will be expelled from PUP regardless of the results. However, students refusing to take the drug tests when ordered to, will not be allowed to enroll in the university again.So far, two students of the university&#x27;s 35,000 have reportedly refused to take the drug tests. - Dexter Ganibe, ABS-CBN News
