MANILA - (UPDATE 3) Damage from tropical storm Ineng has reached P589 million, provincial officials said Sunday. Damage to agriculture is estimated to have reached P20 million while damage to infrastructure was seen at P300 million, according to the latest report of the Ilocos Norte Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc said the province experienced almost month&#x27;s worth of rain in just 1 day, which overwhelmed their capacity to respond. &quot;We have roughly 583 millimeters worth of rain for the month of August, however on Friday alone we had 478 millimeters,” Manotoc said in a statement.
