Trillanes: From hot-headed Navy lieutenant to Duterte nemesis

He also criticizes the latter&#x27;s war on drugs.</p><div><strong>Aug. 31, 2018</strong></div><p>Duterte signs Presidential Proclamation No. 572, invalidating the grant of amnesty to Trillanes for failure to comply with its minimum requirements. </p><p>The proclamation says the senator was granted amnesty even if he did not file an Official Amnesty Application Form.</p><div><strong>September 4, 2018</strong></div><p>Trillanes says he would not surrender to arresting officers and instead would submit himself to Senate custody.
