MANILA - At least 70 villages in different coastal towns in Pampanga were still flooded four days after the onslaught of typhoon Ompong.

In Candaba alone, 11 villages were still submerged in flood as high as 15 feet, forcing residents to take boat rides go from one place to another. The town has been placed under a state of calamity.

Residents in the towns of Macabebe and Masantol face the same situation. Classes have been suspended because floods swamped even the schools.

The Department of Education said they will be distributing alternative learning modules for the students.
