Drunk Japanese man nabbed in Cebu

CEBU - Police on Wednesday arrested a Japanese man for allegedly attempting to seize a weapon at a hotel while drunk. The suspect, identified as Veno Takuma from Osaka, Japan, was accused of trying to take a security guard&#x27;s firearm.In the medical certificate, it was found that Takuma, 25, was drunk.According to police, Takuma wanted to go inside a convenience store in a hotel. When the guard barred him from coming in because he was tipsy, Takuma allegedly got angry and tried to pull out the security guard&#x27;s gun. Takuma is now detained at the Pari-an Police Station for violation of City Ordinance No. 1929, which penalizes drunkenness.
