MANILA (2nd UPDATE) - A British man died after the plane he was flying crashed in a ricefield in Arayat town, Pampanga on Friday.

Mark Hogget, 55, died instantly after his two-seat aircraft crashed in Barangay Lapaz Turu around 3 p.m.

Authorities said Hogget, who was a resident of Tarlac City, took off from a flying school in Magalang town around 2 p.m.
