<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/news/09/25/johnpaul-solano-092517.jpg?ext=.jpg"/></figure></div>MANILA- (UPDATE) The Department of Justice (DOJ) has ordered the release of John Paul Solano, one of the primary suspects in the fatal hazing of law freshman Horacio Castillo III.In a 5-page resolution dated Sept. 26, DOJ prosecutors ordered a deeper probe into the case of Castillo and said Solano should be released since he surrendered.The DOJ added that at the time police looked for respondents, Solano was not yet considered a suspect but only a person of interest.The resolution explained that it was not right to subject Solano to inquest proceeding for perjury which only has a penalty of imprisonment of 6 months and 1 day to 2 years and 4 months.Solano, a member of the Aegis Jvris fraternity which is tagged in the death of Castillo, <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/09/22/17/primary-suspect-in-fatal-hazing-of-ust-student-surrenders">surrendered</a> last week and was placed under the temporary custody of the Manila Police District.Solano, who is facing charges of murder, violation of Republic Act (RA) No. 8049 (Anti-Hazing Law), perjury, robbery, and obstruction of justice, was ordered released as Castillo is laid to rest. <ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/09/25/17/suspects-in-ust-hazing-death-face-criminal-raps">READ: Suspects in UST hazing death face criminal raps</a></li></ul>He was earlier identified as the &quot;good samaritan&quot; who brought the bruised body of Castillo to the hospital but later on emerged as a primary suspect in the case.Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri on Tuesday said Solano had <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/09/26/17/solano-tags-6-frat-brods-in-fatal-hazing-of-ust-law-freshman">tagged</a> at least 6 other members of the Aegis Jvris fraternity in Castillo&#x27;s death.Solano gave a tell-all account in an executive session following the Monday night Senate probe.The DOJ is set to form a 3-man panel of prosecutors to be led by Asst.
