Glitches disrupt LRT-2, MRT ops

<p>MANILA <strong>(3rd UPDATE)</strong> - Twin glitches hit the LRT-2 and MRT-3 during the morning rush hour on Wednesday, inconveniencing scores of passengers.</p><p>At around 10:30 a.m., a northbound MRT train stopped between Magallanes and Ayala stations for 10 minutes, before passengers were instructed to walk along the rail tracks.</p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p dir="ltr" lang="tl">TINGNAN: Pinaglakad sa riles ng tren ang ilang pasahero ng MRT na stranded sa gitna ng Ayala at Magallanes stations ngayong Miyerkoles ng umaga. Authorities said they are looking for ways to remove the object.</p><p>The LRT-2 also stopped its operations from around 9:50 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. due to a &quot;train fault&quot; at Gilmore Station, said its management.</p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p dir="ltr" lang="en">UPDATE: As of 2 Oct. 2019 at 9:49 AM, LRT-2 is temporarily stopping its operations for reasons yet to be identified.
