Imee Marcos is seeking to rename an Ilocos Norte state-run university after her late father, Ferdinand Marcos.</p><p>In the lawmaker&#x27;s Senate Bill No. 1044, Mariano Marcos State University in Batac City will be renamed Ferdinand E. Marcos State University once the legislation is enacted into law.</p><p>The senator said she wants to rename the school so it is not confused with Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University in La Union.</p><p>&quot;Hence, this Ilocos Norte SUC (MMSU) should instead be named after former Pres. Ferdinand E.
