MANILA (UPDATE)—President Rodrigo Duterte traveled to Hong Kong for a break, his top aide said Saturday.

In a Facebook post, Special Assistant to the President Christopher "Bong" Go shared photos of Duterte with partner Honeylet and daughter Kitty.

"Bago maunahan pa ng mga fake news kailangan din magpahinga ng Pangulo," Go said in his caption.

(Before fake news gets around, the President also needs to take a break.)

Go said the President arrived in Hong Kong early Saturday and will return to the Philippines on Sunday night.
