He and several police cohorts last year allegedly abducted casino junket operator Carlos Tan, 55, along the NAIA Expressway in Pasay, according to information from the police Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG).The kidnappers asked for P50 million in ransom money. But after 2 days, Tan’s body was found in a cliff in Barangay San Jose, Tagaytay City, the police unit said.Four of Orme&#x27;s police cohorts were later killed in a police operation, prompting him to go AWOL.Orme&#x27;s group is also suspected of involvement in the narcotics trade, the AKG said.Authorities were supposed to bring Orme to Tuguegarao for a press conference on Monday morning before transferring him to Pasay, where a court issued the warrant of arrest against him, police said.
