Lifting the unified vehicular volume reduction program (UVVRP) for public buses for the Cainta-Quiapo route will help serve the &quot;transportation needs while the LRT-2 is undergoing repair,&quot; the MMDA said in a statement.The order will take effect until the LRT-2 line resumes normal operations, the statement said.Operations were suspended last Thursday after a power transformer between the Anonas and Katipunan stations caught fire. LRT-2 serves some 200,000 passengers daily.
