MANILA - Malacanang has declared special non-working holidays in some areas to give way to the celebration of local events this October.Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea signed proclamations declaring special non-working days in the following areas for these dates and events:October 20 Negros Oriental province, Buglasan FestivalOctober 27 Mati in Davao Oriental, Sambuokan FestivalOctober 28 Dingle in Iloilo, Cry of Lincud commemorationA special non-working holiday was also declared in Muntinlupa on December 19, which would mark the 100th anniversary of the city as an independent local government unit.<div>Report from Dexter Ganibe, ABS-CBN News</div>
