MANILA - The Professional Regulation Commission announced Monday that 496 out of 1,101 passed the Chemist Licensure Examination given this month.

Aaron Gabriel Buenconsejo Uy of the University of San Carlos topped the Chemist Licensure Examination with a rating of 91.20 percent.

Carl Angelo Mateo Caluag (University of the Philippines Diliman) came in second with 89.50 percent.

Peter Matthew Paul Toribio Fowler (Mapua Institute of Technology-Manila) placed third with a rating of 88.35 percent.

UP Diliman was this year’s top performing school with a 92.19 percent passing rate.

Meanwhile, 1,673 out of 1,916 passed the Chemical Technician Licensure Examination given this month.

Jao Jancen Boloyos Ruiz, of Mapua Institute of Technology-Manila, topped the Chemical Technician Licensure Examination with a rating of 92.50 percent.

Mitzi Kathleen Agbayani Pico (Central Mindanao University) and Mary Rose Trillo Sullano (Mindanao University of Science & Technology-CDO) came in second with 91.50 percent.
