Cynthia Alabanza said in an interview with DZMM.&quot;The damage in power lines is not as extensive as in previous typhoons, but some of the affected lines are in mountainous areas so it will take time before we can reach and assess the damage there,&quot; she said.Though transmission lines may be fixed as soon as aerial surveys have been conducted, a definite date on when electricity will be fully restored in Northern Luzon has yet to be announced as electric cooperatives in affected provinces may still not be ready to receive power, Alabanza said.
