MANILA- Another looming water crisis in Metro Manila and nearby areas may push President Rodrigo Duterte to take &quot;drastic action,&quot; Malacañang said Monday as water concessionaires begin rotational supply cuts.Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo said the lack of action on the part of water suppliers Maynilad and Manila Water may be a factor in the President&#x27;s decision on the problem.&quot;I suppose the fact that they (water suppliers) have not undertaken corrective measures that will prevent the evolution of this upcoming crisis again would be a factor that would make the President decide on drastic action against them,&quot; Panelo told reporters.In March, over a million households in Metro Manila suffered from a water crisis brought about by the declining water level in Angat Dam, lack of rains due to El Niño, and high demand.&quot;If indeed they have not done anything despite the fact that there was a crisis before and now it is being repeated again, then the President may consider that factor,&quot; Panelo said.Metro Manila&#x27;s water utility firms began rotational supply cuts last Thursday, Oct. 24 to avoid a bigger problem with the water supply next year, the companies said. <ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/video/business/10/23/19/local-water-utility-firms-see-another-supply-shortage-in-2020">Local water-utility firms see another supply shortage in 2020</a></li></ul>
