<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/news/10/31/ecoland-4000.jpg"/></figure></div><p>Portions of a condominium complex in Davao City cracked and crumbled after a magnitude 6.5 quake jolted parts of Mindanao, Thursday morning, marking the third time a powerful temblor rocked the southern Philippines this month.</p><p>Ecoland 4000 did not totally collapse but portions of its external walls and ceilings fell off, prompting disaster and emergency officials to rush to the complex around 9 a.m.</p><p>Several residents were seen exiting the compound bleeding. Some told ABS-CBN News that they were hit by falling debris during the quake. </p><figure class="op-interactive"><iframe height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KV1aprZi14Q?enablejsapi=1" width="560"></iframe></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>Authorities were still verifying a report that 4 carpenters in the building were trapped underneath the rubble, said Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio. </p><p>As of 10 a.m., officials have yet to determine the total number of injured victims.</p><p>Duterte-Carpio and her brother, Vice Mayor Sebastian Duterte, are at the area to monitor the developments on the ground.</p><p>Their father, President Rodrigo Duterte, was safe in their hometown when the quake struck, Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo said. </p><div><strong>- with reports from Hernel Tocmo and Bona Pamplona, ABS-CBN News</strong></div>
