Hanggat di po natin nakikita, patuloy po namin hahanapin.” CG Chief Petty Officer Alexander G Cenizal, Commander, Coast Guard Sub-Station Calatagan said.</p><p>The BRP Boracay joined the searched on Wednesday. The fast patrol boat made parallel searches covering around 20 to 25 nautical miles or in and around 3.2 miles West off Calatagan Batangas where the passenger was last seen.<br/> <br/>“Yung search and rescue hindi siya madalas. This is the first time na nag-conduct kami ng search and rescue sa Calatagan. Ngayon dahil naka-heightened alert kami dahil sa BSKE and Undas we are in continous patrol maritime security,” Lt. Kris Ann Custodio, Commanding Officer, BRP Boracay said.<br/> <br/>However, they had to end the search past 6 p.m. due to &quot;poor visibility.&quot;<br/> <br/>The Philippine Coast Guard said it would continue its search and rescue on Thursday.</p><p>The PCG, in a separate release, said it has monitored 15,112 outbound passengers and 14,576 inbound passengers in all ports nationwide.</p><p>The coast guard, whose mandate includes maritime safety, has also inspected 257 vessels and 108 motorbancas as of Nov. 1.</p><div><strong>- with a report from Jaque Manabat, ABS-CBN News</strong></div>
