PAGASA: TD 'Marce' to enter PAR Thursday

At 11 a.m. today, PAGASA said the tropical depression, which will be named locally as &quot;Marce&quot;, was last spotted 1,315 km east of Visayas. It was packing top sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) and gusts of up to 55 kph. PAGASA meteorologist Jun Galang said the tropical depression was still weak but the weather agency may issue an initial severe weather bulletin at 11 a.m. Thursday. Galang added that a low pressure area (LPA) inside PAR has weakened and was absorbed by an Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) which is currently dumping light rains over Visayas, Mindanao, Mimorapa and Bicol.
