MANILA - A 4.4-magnitude earthquake jolted Davao Occidental on Saturday, Phivolcs said.
The tremor struck at 1:03 p.m., approximately 153 kilometers southwest of Sarangani town with a depth of 313 kms.
The temblor was tectonic in origin.
Damage to structure or aftershocks were not expected, Phivolcs said.

The quake occurred just two days after a 6.5-magnitude temblor struck Tulunan town, Cotabato, the third in a series of major quakes that shook Mindanao within 16 days in October.
