I shall cherish this award forever,&quot; she said.&quot;The award inspires me to continue helping my fellow Nikkeijins, especially those who are stateless, in their fight for recognition (by the Japanese government), and in serving as living bridge between our two beloved nations.&quot;The embassy said the date of the actual conferment of the award will be decided in consultation with the recipients.
