PAGASA: Tail end of cold front still bothering Northern Luzon

MANILA—Even though weather disturbance Quiel has left the Philippine area of responsibility, the tail end of a cold front near Northern Luzon is still bringing rainshowers over the area, the state weather bureau said Saturday.

The PAGASA said that between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, moderate to heavy rains will prevail over northern and southern Isabela, Quirino, northern and southern Aurora, Nueva Vizcaya.

Light to moderate rains, meanwhile, will be experienced in some portions of northern Isabela also, Mountain Province, Pangasinan, and Kalinga.

Affected residents are advised to take precaution against the impact associated with these hazards.

Residents along mountain slopes are advised for possible landslides mudslides, rock slides and flash floods.
