Pero kasi po ngayon, maglalaan ka talaga ng araw, panahon din po, pati rin budget [para mag-aral],&quot; ani Legaspi.</p><p>Gustong ipabasura ng grupong Filipino Nurses United ang CPD law.</p><p>Ayon kay Eleonor Nolasco, presidente ng Filipino Nurses United, bukod sa magastos, mas itinutulak umano ng batas ang pagpunta sa ibang bansa ng mga propesyunal.</p><p>&quot;Napakakaunti ng available na nursing jobs at kung mayroon man, ang una nilang babagsakan ay mga contractual saka on-the-job training, ganiyan, na wala namang security of tenure, allowance basis, at worst, volunteer lang ang labas nila,&quot; ani Nolasco.</p><p>Hiling ng grupo, sana&#x27;y magbukas na lang ang mas maraming trabaho para sa mga nurse sa bansa.</p><p>Ayon naman sa Department of Health (DOH), tutulungan nila sa mga dagdag na kursong kailangang kuhanin ang mga nars at iba pang professional health workers na nagtatrabaho sa gobyerno.</p><p>&quot;Ang DOH na lang ang siyang magbibigay ng ganitong learning courses,&quot; ani Health secretary Francisco Duque III. &quot;We will prioritize our government employees or health workers, but depending on the capacity of the DOH as providers of these Continuing Professional Development courses, then will see if we can also accommodate those in the private sectors.&quot;</p><p>Naisabatas ang CPD law noong 2016, pero karamihan sa mga propesyon, kabilang na ang sa nursing, ay magpapatupad nito sa susunod na taon.</p><div><strong>-- Ulat ni Kori Quintos, ABS-CBN News</strong></div>
