His visit, he said, was “an opportunity to further enhance the relationship between the two Navies.”Sim took part in official activities, such as a wreath-laying ceremony at the Korean War Memorial at Libingan ng mga Bayani. He also paid a courtesy call South Korea&#x27;s top envoy in Manila, Han Dong-Man.In a statement, the Philippine Navy said Sim&#x27;s visit was a &quot;reaffirmation&quot; of the &quot;already strong ties&quot; between the country and South Korea.
