<figure class="op-interactive"><iframe height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/XjbvEtDLZWA?enablejsapi=1" width="560"></iframe></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>MAYNILA — Nagsimula na ang imbestigasyon ng Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) sa mga reklamo sa Maynilad Water Services kasunod ng pagkawala ng suplay ng tubig sa ilang lugar na sinalanta ng bagyong Ulysses noong Nobyembre.</p><p>Ayon kay MWSS chief regulator Patrick Lester Ty ngayong Miyerkoles, nagpadala sila ng dalawang notice to explain sa Maynilad, kabilang ang kwestyon sa kabiguan umano nilang maglabas ng advisory sa water interruption noong bagyo.</p><p>Sumagot na aniya ang Maynilad sa sulat ng MWSS, pero hindi muna ibinahagi ni Ty ang paliwanag ng kompanya habang nagpapatuloy ang imbestigasyon sa isyu. </p><p>“There’s still an ongoing investigation. So we are investigating it… We want to make sure that the interest of the public is protected by making sure that proper water rotation is done, and if needed, for water tankers to be sent to the consumers,” aniya. </p><p>Ayon sa Maynilad, lubhang naapektuhan ng prolonged high turbidity sa tubig ng Laguna Lake ang Putatan Water Treatment Plant 2, kaya kailangan ng agarang maintenance works para maibalik din agad sa normal ang water production ng pasilidad. </p>
