<p>MANILA -- Former Akbayan Representative Barry Gutierrez posted on Sunday a photo of Cabinet Secretary Leoncio Evasco Jr.’s text message telling Vice President Leni Robredo to desist from attending cabinet meetings starting on Monday.</p><p>In a statement on Sunday, Robredo said she will tender her <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/12/04/16/robredo-resigns-as-housing-secretary">resignation</a> as Housing Secretary from the Cabinet of President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday.</p><script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v2.5" async="" type="text/javascript"></script><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10154211656934716&amp;set=a.10150820739669716.403841.636444715&amp;type=3&amp;theater" data-width="auto"> </div><p>In a text message to ABS-CBN News, Gutierrez confirmed that the text message is accurate and that it was shown to him by Robredo.</p><p>Evasco <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/12/04/16/why-robredo-was-told-not-to-attend-cabinet-meetings">confirmed</a> that he sent the text message as per instruction of the President who cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason.</p><p>However, he clarified that Duterte did not order the termination of Robredo.</p>
