It will be lifted in the time for the major Human Rights Day protest on Saturday from Liwasang Bonifacio to Mendiola.</p><p>Karapatan is also asking Duterte to reconsider the appointment of Eduardo Año as the new military chief of staff.</p><p>The group claimed Año has past records of human rights violations and is a serious threat to the government&#x27;s peace efforts.</p><div><strong>--with reports from Johnson Manabat, ABS-CBN News</strong></div>
