While EDSA currently has a motorcycle lane in both directions, the lanes can also be used by other private vehicles. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said many motorcycle riders also don&#x27;t use the designated lane. MMDA Operations Manager Bong Nebrija said the agency doesn&#x27;t have the manpower to keep motorcycle riders on their proper lanes, which is why the government is looking to fence off the EDSA motorcycle lanes. &quot;Itong dedicated lane na ito, kung matutuloy ito, ito ay naka bollard, so ibig sabihin di ka na pwedeng labas pasok (sa lane),&quot; Nebrija said in an interview with DZMM Teleradyo.
