Royina Garma executed her affidavit implicating former president Rodrigo Duterte in the extrajudicial killings, the house quad committee continued to investigate her connection to the former chief executive, Friday night. </p><p>Antipolo 2nd District Representative Romeo Acop repeatedly questioned Garma’s expose about Duterte’s war on drugs after the latter denied that she was included in the system.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/10/11/watch-garma-links-duterte-bong-go-to-state-sanctioned-killings-2342">WATCH: Garma links Duterte, Bong Go to state-sanctioned killings</a> </div><p>“Kaya ako nagtataka, Madam Garma. Alam mo ang sistema, ‘yong general structure at saka flow ng communication at saka flow ng monetary considerations pero hindi ka kasama sa sistema. Hindi ako makapaniwala doon,” Acop said. </p><p>“Nabasa na ‘yong paa mo, maligo ka na. ‘Yon ang sabi ni Chairman Barbers. Ang ibig niyang sabihin, may alam na kami, nagsabi ka na nan konti, ibuhos mo na. Maligo ka na nang todo. Sabihin mo na ang buong katotohanan. Kasi as far as this representation is concerned, hindi mo pa sinasabi lahat,” he added. </p><p>Garma, however, said that what she knew about the “drug war” were purely from the information from her upperclassman, retired police colonel and current National Police Commission commissioner Edilberto Leonardo, who then led the “Davao model” war on drugs on a national scale.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/10/11/garma-says-duterte-tapped-davao-model-on-killing-drug-suspects-2122">Garma says Duterte tapped &#x27;Davao Model&#x27; on killing drug suspects</a> </div><p>“There was a briefing na kapag kausap ko siya, si Sir Leonardo, nakukwento niya. So ano ba ‘yang level one na ‘yan? ‘Hindi day, kapag level one, ordinary’. Mag-eexplain siya. I cannot recall po the specific amount sa lahat. Nag-eexplain po siya sa akin,” Garma explained. </p><p>She was also asked if who was the “eagle” being referred to during the course of war on drugs. </p><p>“‘Yong pong sa eagle talaga po, I cannot recall. Hindi ko po alam na siya [Leonardo] ‘yong eagle kasi po code ang ginagamit no’ng mga nasa ground. But ako I don’t use eagle. I don’t know kung sinong eagle nga po,” Garma said. </p><p>Garma was also asked of how close she was to former President Duterte. </p><p>“Sa isang ceremony sa Malacañang where generals of BJMP, BFP and PNP, naka-white dock silang lahat. At ikaw lang ang lieutenant colonel na mapo-promote sa full colonel in blue attire and the President gave you the special attention and yet, you are very brave and blatant to say na hindi ka malakas kay Pangulong Duterte? I would have cited you in contempt because you were lying,” Rep. Acop said. </p><p>Garma responded: “Hindi ko alam na malakas. Barayuga who was then the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office board secretary. </p><p>“May report na involved daw siya (Gen. Barayuga) [sa ilegal drugs]. Ipinasa ko na lang, i-validate nyo na lang kasi it’s not my line. I don’t have the asset to do it. Gano’n lang po ang ginawa ko, then wala na po. When I assumed nakita ko naman po na mabait naman siya,” Garma said. </p><p>Garma also denied that the PCSO was a source of drug war reward money but emphasized that before she became the general manager of said office, there were already irregularities. </p><p>“I can tell you and documents will also show talaga sa PCSO that there are plenty of irregularities which I really fought for it,” she said. </p><p>Meanwhile, Garma also confirmed that she knew about the killings of the three Chinese drug lords in Davao City in 2016. </p><p>After the quadcom hearing, Garma’s request was granted by the house to seek medical attention given that she will be accompanied by the House physician.</p><div><strong>RELATED VIDEO:</strong></div><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Y_0nwQXCqVM?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><br/></div>
