Sepe Jr., ABS-CBN News/file</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA -- The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) said it is ready to cooperate in the ongoing investigation on the Duterte administration&#x27;s war on drugs, as it welcomes new information from the House Quad Committee probe.</p><p>In a statement Thursday, CHR expressed optimism that the new information and developments from the investigation of the House of Representatives Quad Committee &quot;will lead to tangible progress&quot; in achieving justice for the victims of extrajudicial killings.</p><p>&quot;Given the considerable challenges the CHR faced during the past administration, we are encouraged that the current socio-political climate offers a more conducive environment for the resolution of these cases,&quot; it said.</p><p>CHR also said it committed to fully support and cooperate with the ongoing investigation.</p><p>&quot;We stand ready to aid the Quad Committee in their undertaking by sharing our investigation reports and findings in the pursuit of truth and accountability,&quot; it added.</p><p>According to CHR, the recent revelations by former police colonel Royina Garma affirm its initial findings that &quot;that police operatives involved in the said incidents are either to be awarded, rewarded, or recognised.&quot; </p><p>&quot;We reiterate the urgency of thoroughly investigating this reward system, as it is crucial in understanding the scope and depth of the violations committed during the campaign,&quot; CHR said.</p><p>CHR likewise expressed hope that the ongoing investigation can lead to policies that will prevent similar human rights violation from happening again.</p><p>&quot;In this regard, CHR acknowledges the recent move in the House of Representative to classify these incidents of killings as heinous crimes as it is a recognition of the grave human rights violations that have transpired, and toward ensuring that justice is served for all the victims and their families.
