MANILA — (UPDATE) President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Sunday joined other world leaders in Jakarta as they attended the inauguration of Indonesia&#x27;s new President Prabowo Subianto.Marcos Jr. and other heads of states trooped to the People&#x27;s Consultative Assembly in Jakarta where they were greeted by the 73-year old Prabowo, a former general who won the elections via a landslide.&quot;I congratulate President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka on their inauguration in Jakarta today,&quot; Marcos Jr. said in a statement posted on social media.&quot;As a fellow founding member of the ASEAN, Indonesia is one of the Philippines&#x27; long standing partners and closest friends in the region,&quot; he said, referring to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).&quot;I reaffirm our nation&#x27;s desire to further strengthen our bilateral ties with Indonesia on this momentous occasion and in lieu of our diplomatic relations&#x27;
