Pinaranas niya hirap, nag-umpisa noong bata ako. Kinailangan ko magsumikap, mag-aral, kailangan mag valedictorian, makapasa sa UP Diliman, maging engineer, maging successful sa problema. Lahat yung prinepare ako sa moment na ito,” added the Tutok To Win Party-list representative. </span></div><div><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">Verzosa said the issues he would prioritize include “Kalusugan” and “Kalinisan.”</span></div><div><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">“Pinaka-priority natin libreng pang ospital, gamot, P2,000 allowance para sa senior citizens natin. Pati trabaho at kabuhayan—ginagawa na natin to ngayon pa lang. Naghahatid na tayo ng medical services through SV mobile clinics,” he explained. </span></div><div><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">&quot;Sabi nga nila, alam mo ‘pag Manila ka na dahil itsura pa lang. Gusto natin baguhin image ng Manila. Pagandahin natin bilang capital ng ‘Pinas dapat imahe gusto mo lumuwas at pumasyal – hiindi makikipagsapalaran, hindi unsafe. Dapat pwede umasenso dito,” he added. </span></div><div><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">Verzosa said he would look into amending existing policies and ordinances.  </span></div><div><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">“Amend natin lahat ng kailangan amend. Solusyonan natin lahat ng problema. Ang kaibahan natin ay magkaroon ng proper consultation sa mga tao para marinig strakholdersHindi yung nag dedesiyon tayo para kung sino lang makinabang o yung may interes. Ang number one priority ay yung tao,” he said.</span></div><div><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">Verzosa said he hoped to inspire others in his mayoral bid. </span><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap"></span></div><div><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">“Sobra-sobra binigay na resources sakin. We don’t do this to help people, we do this to inspire others to do the same. Ito ay movement ng pagtulong, pagbabago. Ito kailangan natin: pagbabago at pag-asa,” he said.</span></div>
