MANILA — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has suspended the Expanded Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program or number coding scheme on Monday in anticipation of bad weather brought by Typhoon Nika.

The number coding scheme is implemented along certain roads across Metro Manila. MMDA said it could not speak for Makati City, which has its own rules on exemptions to and suspensions of the scheme.

“Mag-ingat po ang lahat at patuloy na mag-monitor ng lagay ng panahon,” MMDA said.
