Following a tip-off alleging a company involvement in POGO activities, the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP ACG) raided a scam hub on the 23rd floor of Century Peak Tower in Adriatico Street in Malate, Manila last week.

Police Maj. Gen. Ronnie Francis Cariaga, PNP-ACG director, ordered the relief of the three personnel and called for an administrative investigation.

"The PNP ACG is concerned about the welfare of the police officers, but we take this incident very seriously and will not tolerate such actions. Sanctions will be imposed if these police officers are found liable," Cariaga said.

The three officers have been assigned to the Personnel Holding and Accounting Section (PHAS) of the ACG pending results of the investigation.

CONFLICT ON WARRANT, ALLEGED TAMPERING OF CCTV CAMERAS

Property managers at Century Peak Towers claimed that the police entered floors that were not covered by the warrant, aside from the alleged tampering with the cameras.
