Yummie Dingding, PPA pool</figcaption></figure><div> </div>MANIILA -- President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Marcos shared details of their relationship on Sunday, a few days before Valentine’s Day, putting an emphasis on the need for time and laughter to sustain a lasting marriage.   While balancing time between his job as Chief Executive and as a husband and head of their family has been challenging, Marcos Jr. said that he always tries to make time for his wife, noting that time is among their love languages.   “Mahirap talaga yung balanse kasi work takes up so much of our time. Find out here</a></li></ul> “We just try I suppose to be with each other as much as possible, and snatch what little time there is in both our busy schedules to spend time with one another,” he added.   Date nights still happen every Wednesday, the First Lady said.   “We choose a restaurant we eat in. If he’s busy then he cooks at home, but mostly we eat out and we try to talk about funny things to lessen the stress,” she said.   While time is the “most valuable thing of all,” another important ingredient in a healthy marriage is “direct communication,” the President noted.   “Don’t communicate through your phone. I don’t understand the question. That never happens.”   “It’s perfect. We never fight,” the First Lady said while laughing.   The ability to “laugh about everything and try to see the lighter side of things” has been essential in keeping the marriage afloat, Marcos Jr. said.   “One thing that keeps us going is the sense of humor. Dahil napaka seryoso ng trabaho namin,” he said.   “I was about to say we don&#x27;t bring work home but we do, but in the end, we always find time to laugh about everything and try to see the lighter side of things, otherwise, you will go a little crazy,” he said.   “I can make jokes with Liza that perhaps would be inappropriate in any other setting,” he added.   The First Lady also stressed the importance of keeping things light at home, and having an attitude of gratitude.   “I think we try to laugh a lot. It’s so stressful outside so when you come home, you just try to make light of things,” she said.   “Dont let stress get to you, laugh whenever you can. They usually share pictures of their anniversary celebrations annually, along with their 3 sons: Sandro, Simon and Vincent.   In 2023, the President asked his wife to marry him again to mark their 30th wedding anniversary.   “She really, really takes care of us, the family, ako, yung tatlo naming anak.
