The northeast monsoon is bringing chill winds in extreme Northern Luzon while the easterlies are affecting the rest of the country, weather bureau PAGASA said Tuesday.

PAGASA weather forecaster Lorie Dela Cruz said Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Ilocos Region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon or amihan.

On the other hand, Davao Region, Caraga, Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. PAGASA warned moderate to at times heavy rains could bring possible flash floods or landslides due to these areas.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
