Roemari Lismonero, Presidential Photo</div>MANILA -- The camp of Kingdom of Jesus Christ head Apollo Quiboloy already received the Senate&#x27;s &quot;Show Cause Order&quot; and they will answer it immediately, the televangelist&#x27;s legal counsel assured the public.Quiboloy&#x27;s legal counsel, Atty Melanio Elvis Balayan confirmed that they received the Show Cause Order at exactly 11:10 in the morning of Wednesday, March 13, 2024.&quot;To my mind pag na-receive ko na yun, so, as counsel on record, tatakbo na yung 48 hours... we are deliberating still ano. but definitely, we will comply with the Show Cause Order... So, kung katanggap-tanggap, by some miracle, then tatanggapin ng Senado. Pero kung hindi katanggap-tanggap, and all indications so far would show there&#x27;s no acceptable reason na hindi siya pa-appear-in dito, then isasagawa na yung pag-aresto sa kanya,&quot; the senator said.(The Show Cause Order can be any form of communication, even written. But if not, and all indications so far would show that there&#x27;s no acceptable reason for his non-appearance here, the arrest will be in effect.)<div>DEATH OF THE &#x27;WRITTEN OBJECTION&#x27;</div>The issuance of the Show Cause Order was due to the failure of Senator Robin Padilla to produce eight panel members&#x27; signatures for his &quot;written objection&quot; on Hontiveros&#x27;s contempt ruling versus Quiboloy.Of the 14 members of the Senate Committee on Women, only Senators Padilla, Imee Marcos, Christopher &quot;Bong&quot; Go, Cynthia Villar, and Mark Villar sided with the objection.The ten who maintained that Quiboloy should appear before the Senate are: Senators Hontiveros, Nancy Binay, Pia Cayetano, Grace Poe, Raffy Tulfo, JV Jjercito, Loren Legarda, Joel Villanueva and Aquilino &quot;Koko&quot; Pimentel III.Dela Rosa also explained why he, along with Go and Padilla, attended the last day of a pro-Quiboloy protest in Manila.&quot;Pumunta kami dun bilang kaibigan ni Pastor Quiboloy... I cannot stop him from using such a reason. At sa kabuuang problema at pangangailangan ng ating education system na hanggang sa ngayon ay nasa krisis... doon na lang ibaling ni VP ang mga enerhiya niya, sa halip na depensahan ang isang Quiboloy na nang-aabuso pa nga sa mga bata at estudyante nito,&quot; she stressed. (I&#x27;m hoping that the VP will just focus her energy in improving our educational system, which remains in crisis up to this day, instead of defending a certain Quiboloy who is abusing children and students.)Hontiveros said the Senate Committee on Women will conduct its fourth hearing most likely next week or when the 48-hour deadline lapses.
