Nag-issue na rin umano siya ng memorandum circular na imbestigahan ang lahat ng protected area at kung ilan pa ang kagaya ng nasabing <a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/3/15/resort-sa-paanan-ng-chocolate-hills-inuulan-ng-batikos-1743">resort sa Chocolate Hills</a>.</p><p>“Marami na silang napuntahan, marami na silang inikutan. Hindi lang Chocolate Hills, pati ibang lugar, meron ding ibang lugar dun, I mean Chocolate Hills rin pero hindi lang &#x27;yung isang resort. Mukhang meron pang iba. &#x27;Yun din ang pupuntahan ko,” sabi ni Abalos.</p><p>Huwebes, Marso 21 ay tutungo sa Bohol si Abalos para personal na kumustahin ang imbestigasyon. </p><p>“It’s an eye opener. It’s a UNESCO Heritage site, dapat nga ito pinapangalagaan ito. Baligtad ang nangyari rito, so let’s review the procedure, bakit nangyari ito, mga papeles na binigay, ano mga napirmahan,” sabi ni Abalos. </p><p>“It goes without saying maski kailan pa ito, dapat lahat maicheck sa ngayon. Lahat maimbentaryo,” dagdag niya. </p><p>Ikinagalit umano ng kalihim ang mabalitaan niya ito kaya’t dapat may managot sa nangyari. </p><p>“&#x27;Di ako makapaniwala, hindi talaga ako makapaniwala dahil ang Chocolate Hills ay Chocolate Hills sa ating mga Pilipino. Lumaki tayo na alam mo, napakagandang tignan parang mga tsokolate talaga eh. Paano nagkaroon ng swimming pool, ano ito? <a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/3/15/chocolate-hills-resort-an-eyesore-agencies-pointing-fingers-binay-1258">Tagihawat</a> na lumitaw?
