<p>MANILA — The four Pinoy transgender Filipinas involved in a brawl with Thai transgenders in Bangkok&#x27;s red light district are already bound for Manila, the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok said. </p><p>In a statement, the embassy said the Philippine Embassy paid the fines incurred by all four individuals. </p><p>&quot;The Embassy provided comprehensive assistance and support to our affected nationals. The fines ordered by the Bangkok Civil Court were paid and settled by the Philippine Government through the Philippine Embassy,&quot; it said in a statement.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/3/6/thai-police-investigate-2-filipino-transgenders-after-brawl-956" target="_self">READ: Thai police investigate 2 Filipino transgenders after brawl</a></div><p>In the same statement, the embassy also sounded the alarm on people taking advantage of the event to conduct scams guised as fundraising for their fines.</p><p>&quot;We caution these concerned individuals from spreading misinformation or posting unsubstantiated information on social media,&quot; they said.</p><p>They also assured the public that this will not affect the relationship of both countries. </p><p>Based on numerous reports, more than a hundred Thai transgender sex workers gathered outside the hotel where the Filipinos were checked in, due to a &quot;turf war.&quot;</p><p>The Filipinos were identified as tourists but authorities in Thailand are investigating if they were illegally working there.
