Antonia Esteban Habana, chairperson of the Philippine General Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Department.</p><p>House Deputy Majority Leader Janette Garin, who is also a doctor, recently urged women to skip wearing undergarments during hot weather when women are prone to fungal infection.</p><div><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/4/2/lawmaker-urges-women-to-skip-panties-at-home-1110" id="isPasted">Lawmaker urges women to skip panties at home</a></div><p>Herbosa said there is basis to Garin&#x27;s suggestion, adding that he knows there are some obstetrician-gynecologists who give a similar advice.</p><p>Senate Committee on Health and Demography chair Sen. Christopher Go also asked Herbosa what advice he could give to men.</p><p>&quot;More sa women because ang PH genital track nila, iba sa male.
