MANILA — ABS-CBN News reporter Jervis Manahan has been selected as one of ten Filipino journalists who will be participating in the Friends, Partners, Allies tour of CRDF Global and the US Embassy in the Philippines.<div> </div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1713672581682GLXiqjVbkAA9crU.jpeg" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/>ABS-CBN News reporter Jervis Manahan</div>He will join a team of news reporters and editors touring US institutions across four states for three weeks.The reporting tour aims to &quot;introduce journalists covering various beats to US institutions, foreign policy, innovation, and culture to enhance their reporting on the different aspects of the US-Philippine bilateral relationship.&quot;The Filipino journalists will have on-the-record engagements and briefings with US government officials, policymakers, news organizations, and members of the Filipino-American community.Also joining the tour are John Ted Cordero of GMA News Online, Celeste Anna Formoso of Palawan News, Jomelle Garner of Daily Tribune, Iris Gonzalez of The Philippine Star, Frances Mangosing of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Vinafel Pilapil of PTV Davao, Joyce Rocamora of Philippine News Agency, and Martin Sadongdong of Manila Bulletin.Manahan previously participated in global trainings and conferences, including the Global Investigative Journalism Conference 2019 in Germany, the Disinformation and Democracy Summit in Taiwan, and the first Mobile Journalism Conference in Thailand.
