A photo of a cat stabbed with a knife in the eye is making the rounds online.

A photo posted by Facebook user Jernie Lloyd Agustin showed a stray cat with a knife on its head.

Information on the whereabouts of the cat is not available, but according to Agustin’s profile, he is from San Jose, Nueva Ecija.

In separate posts, Agustin said he is looking for the cat but they have failed to find it.

According to social media users who commented on Agustin’s post, the cat roams around the market.

Other commenters also said the knife has been removed from the cat, but the cat escaped from those who tried to rescue it.

As of this posting, Agustin’s post has garnered over 2,400 reactions, 126 comments and 1,000 shares, with most comments seeking for justice for the cat.

Some also offered to raise funds for the cat’s medical bills, if they are able to rescue it.
