Members of the Quezon Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, together with the CDRRMO Lucena City and the Philippine Air Force, conduct a rescue operation in Barangay Kanlurang Mayao, Lucena City, as heavy rains caused flooding in different parts of Quezon Province on Sunday. AghonPH intensified to a typhoon as it moved northeastward at 15 kph with maximum winds of 120 kph and gusts of up to 180 kph according to PAGASA's latest advisory.
