<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1715064482115factcheck_ph-army-hiring.png" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>Hindi galing sa Philippine Army ang kumakalat na posts sa social media tungkol sa hiring diumano ng ahensiya ngayong 2024 na nag-aalok ng P43,800 na buwanang sahod.</p><p>Sa isang post ng Facebook page na <em>“Filipino Gazette”</em> noong Abril 23, 2024, mababasa sa caption ang pahayag na “<em>Philippine Army Hiring K-12 Graduates, Apply Now Before the Deadline End.</em>” Ayon sa post, kinakailangang hindi bababa sa limang talampakan ang tangkad ng aplikante at walang age limit ang mga mag-a-apply. Kalakip ng post ang isang link kung saan maaaring mag-apply ang mga interesadong aplikante.</p><p>Sa isang post sa kanilang opisyal na Facebook account noong Abril 24, 2024, binalaan ng Philippine Army ang publiko laban sa nasabing Facebook post tungkol sa recruitment ng ahensiya na nagbibigay ng “unverified links” para sa aplikasyon sa pagkasundalo at nagsasabing walang age limit ang mag-aapply.</p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FYourPhilippineArmy%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02nvfAWR8kySXnWjjhVbWfAPEjpfGU51uwbkkJtihnMHvmvd5DBpvh4nYY3eBv7NWDl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500&amp;is_preview=true" width="500" height="707" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>“<em>The Philippine Army reminds the public that official recruitment announcements and online application forms will be found on the Join the Army&#x27;s official website at </em><a href="https://jointhearmy.ph/"><em>https://jointhearmy.ph/</em></a>,” ayon sa Philippine Army.</p><p>Kung bubuksan ang link na kaakibat ng post ay mapupunta ang user sa isang blogspot website na may pangalang “AFP APPLICATION FORM” at hindi sa opisyal na website ng Philippine Army.</p><p>Sa nasabing website, hinihingi ang ilang personal na impormasyon tulad ng buong pangalan, email address, at numero ng telepono.</p><div style="margin:0cm;margin-bottom:12.0pt;line-height:115%;margin-top:12.0pt;margin-right:0cm;margin-left:0cm"><img border="0" src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17150641897131715064187861.png" class="fr-fic fr-dii"/></div><p>Hindi rin totoo na walang age requirement ang pagsali sa Philippine Army. Sa website na “Join the Army,” malinaw na nakasaad na edad 21 hanggang 27 lamang ang maaaring mag-apply sa Philippine Army bilang army officer at enlisted personnel. </p><p>Ayon sa  <a href="https://jointhearmy.ph/how-to-join/qualifications-and-requirements">Join the Army website</a>, ang mga pamantayan para maging army officer at enlisted officer ay ang mga sumusunod:</p><ol start="1" type="1"><li><strong>Nasa edad 21 hanggang 27 na taong gulang sa oras na maging officer</strong></li><li><strong>Physically fit at walang anumang kaso sa korte</strong></li><li><strong>Natural-born na Pilipino</strong></li><li><strong>Pagkakaroon ng bachelor’s degree para sa army officer at graduate ng K-12 senior high school o technical vocational course para sa enlisted officer</strong></li><li><strong>Walang asawa at obligasyon sa magulang</strong></li><li><strong>Hindi bababa ng 5 feet ang tangkad</strong></li></ol><p>Ang isang army officer ay may responsibilidad na pangasiwaan ang kapakanan at seguridad ng mga officers sa kanyang nasasakupan. Samantala, ang isang enlisted officer naman ay may trabahong siguraduhing natatapos at nasusunod nang maayos ang trabaho sa kanilang partikular na unit.</p><p>Sumasailalim sa isang mahabang  <a href="https://jointhearmy.ph/how-to-join/road-map-to-join">proseso</a> tulad ng pagrehistro, pagkuha ng pagsusulit, interview, oath taking, physical test at training ang isang Pilipinong nagnanais makasama sa Philippine Army. </p><p>Pinaalalahan ng pamunuan ng Philippine Army ang publiko na ang ahensiya ay hindi tumatanggap ng anumang uri ng bayad mula sa mga aplikante na naghahangad maging sundalo.</p><p>Sa kasalukuyan, hindi pa binubura ng Facebook page na “Filipino Gazette” ang nasabing pekeng post.
