MANILA -- Senate Committee on Public Services Chairperson Raffy Tulfo plans to investigate the 48 unused MRT3 Dalian trains once Congress resumes in July.

This, after Tulfo conducted an inspection at the MRT3 Depot in North Avenue, Quezon City on Tuesday, June 18.

(These 48 Dalian trains remain unused and covered in dust. These were made by China and cost P3.7 billion when they were delivered in 2017.)

(People have been charged at the Ombudsman because of this but the cases were just dismissed. This is why a unique criminal case should be filed to avoid double jeopardy.)

Tulfo called on the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to re-negotiate the contract in order to refund the money used to purchase the trains.
